Clive Christian is an English based manufacturer of Victorian, Edwardian and Regency styled bespoke furniture. Pieces designed to suit individual client requirements are fully manufactured in England from solid timbers such as oak, beech, mahogany etc.
Fitted furniture partnered with selected freestanding pieces enable the client to achieve a Clive Christian feel throughout the entire home. Partnerships with Royal Worcester, Arthur Price and Edinburgh Crystal have further enhanced the brand with signature crockery, cutlery and crystal.

The company was founded over thirty years ago and Clive is happy to acknowledge he was the first designer to put chandeliers into kitchens which labeled him as ‘eccentric’ but is now a coveted signature of a Clive Christian kitchen.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STYLE
Designed especially for the larger luxury home with the signature elements of Clive Christian enhanced to fit the space appropriately. The harmony of the Architectural division coming together with the paneling division, with floor to ceiling furniture, results in the entire room feeling like an architectural work of art.
Strong architectural features such as the frieze and the mantel are enhanced whilst the elegance and grandeur of the Clive Christian design signatures are shown through barrel backed alcoves which centre the softly lit glazed dressers.
The colour palete evokes a sense of what the company refers to as ‘Cool Luxury” with solid black oak flooring and island worktop offset by the contrasting cabinetry finishes in ivory and laced with a 200year old British Antique grey glaze.
All furniture is handmade to individual specification in England and as every design is unique the final cost will reflect this.
ALPHA COUTURE DESIGN STYLE
Contemporary in design although still displays Clive’s timeless, luxury, design taking signature cues from Clives’s classic “Victorian Kitchen”, originally created in the 1980’s.
The huge centre island—with optional champagne bottle sink—is held aloft by platinum—leafed lion’s feet—to create a floating effect—and the dominant chandeliers are in platinum and smoke gray crystal.
The visual atmosphere of AlPHA—was inspired by the controversial Stanley Kubrick film ‘Eyes Wide Shut” combined with the abundance of a Venetian Masquerade Ball.
Made in England using the best materials available, tree trunks arrive and are completely craftsman built, finished by hand, delivered to clients home and hand painted on site.

Inspired by the grand and opulent designs of the Victorian era, despite the fact that the kitchen in the 1800’s was never used by high society.
The most famous, most recognized and most photographed kitchen in the world—as chosen by Shania Twain, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion to name a few.
Trademark carved corbels embellishments, dental coving and the large island—combine traditional Victorian style with the luxuries of modern day.
