The front is the face of a kitchen and this can be presented in a variety of surface finishes.

In terms of design and quality the surfaces show considerable differences.

Some surfaces display a high resistance to water and to fluctuations in temperature, whereas others show an extreme reaction. The various qualities automatically determine the value of a front.

At this point we would like to mention that in Germany the average life expectancy of a kitchen is 13 years. A rational kitchen has a much longer lifespan. This means that superior workmanship, high-grade materials and perfect technology are necessary in order to guarantee the corresponding longevity.

In your own interests we would ask you to carefully consider the properties and qualities of the various surfaces when choosing your kitchen.

Real wood veneer

Wood is a product of nature, grown over years. Tree trunks that are processed to solid wood fronts or veneers show considerable variations in colour and texture. Even with cuts taken from the same trunk, differences in colour and texture cannot be avoided.

High gloss lacquer

Our high-gloss lacquers are 2-component lacquers that protect both the inside and outside of the front equally. A key benefit of these fronts is that they are absolutely easy care.

The high-gloss lacquers are applied in multiple coats and comprise a coloured basic lacquer and a hardener. After curing the lacquer is sanded matt before being polished to a high gloss.

This labour-intensive process gives the surface its desired level of gloss.
